In 2014, our founding student Dalton was diagnosed with a rare adrenal cancer which he battled like a hero for two years. He spent everyday dancing at CSD since it's opening in 2002, and even throughout his treatments.
We carry on Dalton's beautiful legacy each year with a $2,000 college scholarship awarded to a graduating senior dancer. We also offer boy's scholarships for level 1 & up, from 50%-100% in his honor. Contact for more information or applications.
Our staff continues to raise money annually for Children's Hospital Colorado and Dancers Against Cancer. We host Dance for a Difference each spring, and donate our time with Dalton's Moon Foundation, including the annual Golf Tournament every June at Spring Valley Golf Club.

Dalton's Mom, Karen, continues her role as a founding partner of our studio, and acting Mother Ginger each year in the Nutcracker of Parker. Dalton was the owner's Godson, and like a fourth child to the Tuska Family.
