Celebration Dance Festival – ANNUAL STUDENT PRODUCTION
Colorado School of Dance presents the annual student productions called Celebration Dance Festival every June. The one week of dance recitals includes the Twinkle Stars Showcase for dancers Preschool through Kindergarten, and a larger student production for dancers in grades 1st and up. Along with regular annual recitals in ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, hip hop, etc., we also present a “Full-Length Themed Ballet” every even year. Past ballets include: Coppelia, Wizard of Oz, The Snow Queen. Past recital themes include: “Let’s go to the Movies”, “Dance Bold, Dance Beautiful”, “That’s Dancing” and “Picture This!” The Twinkle Stars Showcase is a theatre recital in full costume and lights, but a much shorter entertainment venue at 45 minutes including the annual slideshow. Nutcracker of Parker – ANNUAL HOLIDAY CLASSIC
The Nutcracker of Parker is a mainstay production here in Parker, CO. The production has been in existence for more than five years entertaining sold out audiences from the community. The ballet includes local casting combined with professional dancers and professional backdrops and sets. Auditions for ages 6 and up are held annually in August at the Colorado School of Dance. Dance for a Difference – ANNUAL TEAM BENEFIT SHOW FOR CHARITY
Colorado School of Dance in partnership with APEX Contemporary Dance Theatre recently presented a Benefit Show (in place of a dance competition) to raise more than $5,700 to the Tennyson Center for Children here in Colorado. The show was meant to teach our more serious team dancers that they can make a difference through their dance. Dancers had the opportunity to have lighting design set on their dances and were able to celebrate in giving a large presentation check to the benefactor at the end of their show. Each team tied the benefit together with a service project. The show was held at the Pinnacle Dinner Theatre in Littleton, CO, and dessert/coffee were served. Click here to see video of this event. An Evening of Classical Ballet – EVERY OTHER YEAR FUNDRAISING EVENT
Colorado School of Dance, and the Colorado Youth Ballet Company present an in-studio Evening of Classical Ballet every other year (odd year) in the Galleria Ballroom at the studio. Famous ballet variations are set on the companies (Youth, Junior, Intermediate and Senior Company) and then performed for an audience during this special evening. Denver Parade of Lights – ANNUAL PERFORMANCE BY POMS TEAMS
Join us at the Denver Parade of Lights where our Gold Medal Poms Teams perform their “country classic” annually for the downtown holiday audience. Our dancers are all lit up with white cowgirl hats and western wear. They take the streets with their award-winning teams to fun Christmas music and highly polished choreography. Watch for us on 9News or come and downtown the first weekend in December to see this phenomenal parade!

Nuggets Game Show – SPECIAL EVENT PERFORMANCE
Colorado School of Dance has been featured at the Pepsi Center during a Denver Nuggets Game, with more than 90 dancers on the court for a 10 minute production. International OR National Dance Trip - EVERY ODD YEAR DANCE TEAM TRIP
Disneyworld, Las Vegas, Macy’s Day Parade at Universal Studios, New York are just to name a few of the places CSD has taken students.
